Our last trip to the Andes began in the Cafayate town,
which is located 1 660 meters above the sea level and
180 kilometers far from Salta. In Cafayate we saw two
wine factories (Domingo Hermanos, 25 years old, and Vasija Secreta
from 1857) and a pottery workshop (Victor Cristofani) in
which jugs are produced with height up to 1.6 meters.
The way back from Cafayate lead us through marvelous
mountains, we visited a natural amphitheatre and a lake Cabra Corral
with length over 90 kilometers and maximum depth about 90
meters.
