Victoria Falls - are situated on the border of Zambia and Zimbabwe. They are almost two kilometres long
and fall into the depth of nearly one hundred metres. The name of the river is Zambezi. |
Detail of the guest book in Victoria falls on
the Zambian side. Notice the last line.

There were crowds of brassy monkies. |
We saw beautiful rainbow many times. Omnipresent drops of water cause this splendour.
|
||||
Another rainbow.
|
On some places we were completely wet and neither mackintosh could
help us. Water was everywhere. |
||||
David is even more wet than Peter. |
Zambezi River above the waterfall, Zambian side. |
||||
But we saw only elephants, no crocodiles here. |
Neither the danger of crocodiles discouraged Martin from entrance into
the Zambezi River. |
||||
Aborigines evidently don´t bother with crocodiles. |
Zambezi River under the waterfall. |
||||
Second day near the waterfall and opposite side of the border. This time we are in Zimbabwe. |
Jungle around the waterfall. Enough humidity enables to grow
rich vegetation indeed. |
||||
Water falling in the deepness is fascinating. |
Enjoy another such a view. |
||||
And another one ... |
Jungle above falls with footpath for tourists. |
||||
David is shooting the falls. The picture isn't fuzzy, only the vapour is everywhere. |
And Martin helps where the nature doesn't know what to do. |
